Who we are
I made EightyMoons, under a different name, in early 2020 as a way to pay my rent. It did accomplish that goal and I was able to survive a global pandemic. But as I continued to create and entered a job as a professional seamstress, I felt like there was more to be done with this passion and skill I had. So I prayed about it. The original name of my business kept me locked in a box to only make fiber art, so I quickly shifted and completely rebranded. I started to expand my reach and my art abilities. Through the years, EightyMoons has become more than I could have ever dreamed - and I have plans for it to be so much more. I hope you'll join me for the journey.
Our mission
We are on a mission to empower Christian artists to create outside the bounds of what we have known art to be. We believe that artists hold a unique ability to make the things that are unknown visible to the world. We want to uplift and promote the people who are creating art that is an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Let creativity and beauty inside the familiar

Jupiter Katsaros
Owner/Artist

Hi, I'm Jupiter! I am by trade a fiber artist, but I love to push boundaries in both medium and meaning in my art. At the core of everything I create is faith. There is a story and a meaning behind each piece I create. Sometimes that is very obvious, and other times I leave it up to the viewer to find meanings of their own.
When I'm not creating, you can likely find me reading, hiking, or roller skating. I love being in nature, which often influences my art.
I currently reside in Louisville KY with my pets - a rabbit named Artemis (Arty for short) and a leopard gecko named Heinrich.
